China's raw coal output up by 3.7% YOY in Jan-Sep

Data released by National Bureau of Statistics indicated that China produced 330 million tons of raw coal in September 2021, dropping by 0.9% and 1.8% from the same period of 2020 and 2019 respectively with the average annual decrease of 0.9% in the recent two years. The daily output of the material was 11.14 million tons in September 2021. China's imports of coal were 32.88 million tons in September 2021, rising by 76.0% YOY.
From January to September 2021, China's raw coal output was 2.93 billion tons, rising by 3.7% and 3.6% from the same period of 2020 and 2019 respectively with the average annual increase of 1.8% in the recent two years. China's imports of coal were 230.40 million tons in the first nine months of 2021, declining by 3.6% YOY.
