60MW BIPV project commences construction in Mian county, Shaanxi

On the afternoon of October 11, a construction commencement ceremony was held for the 60MW building integrated photovoltaic power (BIPV) project to be built in Mian county, Hanzhong city, Shaanxi province.
With a proposed total investment of RMB300 million (USD46.53 million) from SPIC Mian County Lvdong New Energy Co., Ltd. and expected to be built by December 2022, the project is expected to provide 1.5 billion KWh green electricity, enable users to save RMB45 million (USD6.98 million) electricity fees and cut carbon emission by 1.5 million tons within 25 years.
