Due to the heavy rainfall, a total of 54,947 people were transferred from various regions of Shanxi during the flood, 60 coal mines, 372 non-coal mines and 14 hazardous chemical enterprises were halted, 1,035 projects under construction were suspended, and 166 scenic spots were closed.
