Jiangxi Jiana Energy Technology starts construction of Li-battery project

Recently, Jiangxi Jiana Energy Technology Co., Ltd. started construction of a 50,000tpy Ni-Co and 100,000tpy NCM precursor green intelligent production project at Jiangxi Longnan Economic Development Zone.
With a total investment of RMB12.5 billion (USD1.93 billion) by Guangdong Dowstone Technology Co., Ltd. and to cover a land area of 704 Mu (46.93 hectares), the two-phase project will focus on production of power battery cathode precursors, cobalt salts and nickel salts as well as on recycling of used Li-batteries. When phase one goes into operation, it is expected to produce an annual production value of RMB10 billion (USD1.55 billion).
