NEA: Solar power installed capacity up by 24.6% YOY in Jan-Aug

The National Energy Administration (NEA) releases national power industry statistics from January to August. As of the end of August, the national installed capacity of power generation reached 2.28 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%. In particular, the installed capacity of wind power generation was approximately 300 million kilowatts, up by 33.8% year-on-year; that of solar power generation recorded approximately 280 million kilowatts, an increase of 24.6% from the same period last year.
