In August, DTA terminal (Dominion Terminal Associates) exported 1.23 million short tons of coal in August, an increase of 18% MOM and 63% YOY . In January-August, it totally exported 8 . 67 million short tons, an increase of 10% YOY.
Coal export volume at Lamberts Point terminal was 810,000 short tons, a decrease of 10% MOM but an increase of 9% YOY. It totally exported 6 . 76 million short tons in January-August, a decrease of 14% YOY.
Coal exports at Pier IX terminal in August were 600,000 short tons, an increase of 18% MOM and 233% YOY. In January-August, it exported a total of 3 . 71 million short tons, an increase of 48% YOY.
