On September 3, the No. 1 plant of Longi Green Energy's 15GW high-efficiency monocrystalline battery project in Jinghe New City, Xixian New District, Shaanxi, was officially put into use, which was completed one month earlier than originally planned.
The delivered 15GW high-efficiency monocrystalline battery project No. 1 plant covers an area of 72,000 square meters. It is the largest single battery production workshop currently under construction in the Longji Green Energy project. It is planned to be officially put into operation in March 2022. The 15GW high-efficiency monocrystalline battery project in Jinghe New City Longji Green Energy is a key industrial project in Shaanxi province in 2021, with a total investment of nearly RMB20 billion (USD3.10 billion).
The Longi Green Energy photovoltaic industry base project is divided into 4 sub-projects with an annual output of 15GW monocrystalline slices, 15GW high-efficiency monocrystalline cells, 15GW high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, and silicon-carbon anode materials respectively. After the entire project is completed, it will become the world's largest single crystal photovoltaic cell production base in the world, which is expected to achieve an annual output value of more than RMB40 billion (USD6.19 billion) after reaching maximum capacity.
