Huludao Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. (Zinc Industry) recently announced that the company intends to invest RMB760 million (USD117 million) to acquire 100% equity of Huludao Hongyue North Copper Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hongyue North Copper") held by Huludao Hongyue Group Co., Ltd. (called "Hongyue Group" for short).
The main business of Hongyue North Copper includes the smelting and processing of non-ferrous metal copper, while Zinc Industry's main business is the smelting and deep processing of non-ferrous metal zinc. After the completion of this deal, the main business of Zinc Industry will be changed to smelting and deep processing of non-ferrous metal zinc and copper.
