China's pig iron output up by 2.3% YoY in Jan-Jul

According to statistics from National Bureau of Statistics, from January to July 2021, China's pig iron output was 534 million tons, up by 2.3% YoY; the average daily output of pig iron during the period was about 2.52 million tons, down by 4,000 tons from that in January-June with the decline at 0.2%.
In July, Chinese pig iron output recorded 72.85 million tons, down by 8.9% YoY and 3.9% MoM, and the average daily output was 2.35 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 7.0%.
