WSP zinc plant targeting January for opening

India's Waelz Sustainable Products (WSP) zinc reclamation plant is scheduled to be in full production next January, and raw materials for production will start coming in early- to mid-November.
Since the company received its clean air permit on June 17, construction of the plant is coming along.
The WSP plant will heat the electric arc furnace dust at high temperatures to extract zinc and iron from it.
The company said it will have more exact dates for the timeline in 30 to 60 days.
