It was said that on the morning of July 18, Xiangfen Zhongsheng Iron and Steel Company started construction of five major projects, including rich-hydrogen low-carbon thermal simulation testing base, high-quality special steel with annual output of one million tons, technology upgrading of converter with the volume of 155t, standard improvement for equipment and energy conservation and waste heat recycling.
It was reported that the company was founded in 2007 as a joint producer for iron and steel, which integrated iron-making, steel-making and products rolling together. It now has the annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons of iron, 1.9 million tons of high carbon structural steel billet, 1.0 million tons of steel bar and 1.0 million tons of wire rod.
