Crude steel output of major steel mills in Xinjiang exceeds 7.00 million tons in H1

According to statistics from Xinjiang Iron and Steel Association, from January to June, major steel mills in Xinjiang produced about 6.02 million tons of pig iron, up by 25.06% compared with the same period of last year. During this period, the output of crude steel reached around 7.01 million tons, up by 25.41% YOY and the output of steel products reached around 6.74 million tons, up by 26.41% YOY.
The output included about 4.64 million tons of construction steel, up by 32.4% YOY, and about 1.94 million tons of steel plates and strips, up by 17.38% YOY.
