India extends anti-dumping measures against cold rolled flat steel products of iron, non alloy steel, or other alloy steel from China

On June 29, 2021, the Ministry of Finance of India announced that the anti-dumping measures against cold rolled/cold reduced flat steel products of iron, non alloy steel, or other alloy steel originating in or imported from China, Japan, South Korea and Ukraine should be extended until December 15, 2021.
On April 19, 2016, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India launched an anti-dumping investigation on cold rolled/cold reduced flat steel products of iron, non alloy steel, or other alloy steel originating from or imported from China, Japan, South Korea and Ukraine. On May 12, 2017, India formally implemented anti-dumping measures on the products of the above countries in the form of minimum price. The minimum price of the above countries stood at USD576/mt, which was valid for five years and ended on August 16, 2021. On March 31, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that, in response to the application submitted by the Indian Iron and Steel Association, the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on cold rolled/cold reduced flat steel products of iron, non alloy steel, or other alloy steel originating from or imported from China, Japan, South Korea and Ukraine was launched . The customs codes of the products involved are 7209, 7211, 7225 and 7226 . Stainless steel, high speed steel, grain oriented silicon steel and non grain oriented silicon steel are not included in the products investigated.
