According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, in January-May 2021, China's steel output reached 577 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%. Based on the data, the average daily output of steel in January-May arrived at 3.82 million tons, 1.3% higher than that in January-April.
In May, China's steel output reached 125 million tons, up 7.9% year on year. Based on the data, the average daily output of steel in May arrived at 4.02 million tons, a month-on- month decrease of 0.5%.
