Meijin Iron & Steel's capacity replacement project settles in Yuanping, Shanxi

On May 17th, Yuanping government signed "Shanxi Meijin Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. green smart new material industrial park cooperation agreement" with Shanxi Meijin Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. based on the previous "green smart new material industrial park (steel capacity replacement project) strategic cooperation agreement".
The total investment of the project is RMB11.959 billion (USD1.86 billion) and the designed annual capacity of the project includes 3.518 million tons of iron and 3.09 million tons of steel. After completion, the project will achieve an operating income of RMB14.029 billion (USD2.18 billion), a profit of RMB726 million (USD113 million) and a tax of RMB500 million (USD77.8 million).
