Shandong strives for 50% steel capacity proportion in coastal area by 2022

On the morning of April 27, a mobilization and deployment meeting aiming at "five-year breakthrough" in the power transformation from old to new was held in Shandong.
It is reported that Shandong industry and information system will focus on the implementation of six measures. In terms of industrial layout adjustment, it will further promote the safe production and upgrading of the chemical industry, strive to increase the proportion of steel production capacity around coastal area to more than 50% by 2022, and integrate and transfer the production capacity of local smelting enterprises failing to realize the integration of refining with a refining capacity of 3 million tons or less.
