    Encouraged by tight spodumene supply of increasing lithium ore prices, prices of Chinese lithium carbonate and hydroxide moved up in March 2021. But these markets saw few deals as major consumers from LFP and LNCMO industries consumed inventories and delayed procurements.

    Although end users from battery industry purchased inactively, Chinese LFP and LNCMO producers ran with high operating rates in March 2021 because they still had backlog of orders received in January and early February 2021.
