    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode

    Chinese prebaked anode prices climbed quickly in March because of the strong demand and increased pet coke prices and producers increased production.

    1.2 Pet coke

    Because of the less supply, pet coke prices moved up in March and the demand remained firm.

    1.3 Graphite electrode

    In March, the demand for graphite electrode both at home and abroad recovered, leading to increased deals. Prices also went up because of the increased CPC and needle coke prices.

    1.4 CPC

    CPC prices in China climbed in March because of the good demand and increased cost.

    1.5 Coal tar pitch

    Coal tar pitch prices went up on average in March for the increased coal tar prices and strong demand.
