China Baowu launches Wuhan Industrial Port Project

On December 15th, WISCO Logistics Co., Ltd. under China Baowu Ouyeel formally launched Wuhan Industrial Port Project, indicating that China Baowu has taken an important step towards building a core logistics hub in the high-quality steel ecosystem.
The project is led by WISCO Logistics in development, building and operation and mainly serves WISCO, Echeng Iron & Steel, Masteel and other steel mills under China Baowu as well as traders in steel industry. The construction of the project, which has a total planned area of about 2,179,333 square meters and a total investment of about RMB5.7 billion (USD872.08 million), will be divided into three phases and will be finished within five years. The project is planned to include "five areas and two centers", namely the wharf operation area, the intelligent warehouse distribution area, the green bulk storage area, the port industry area, the port-city integration area, the commodity trading center and the logistics trading center.
