    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode

    In October, Chinese prebaked anode prices continued climbing, supported by higher cost and new demand improvement. Buyers started adding stocks ahead of winter.

    1.2 Pet coke

    Chinese pet coke market remained strong in October in spite of temporary price retreat in the first half.

    1.3 Graphite electrode

    Pushed by higher cost of CPC and coal tar pitch, Chinese graphite electrode prices started moving up in October both at home and abroad.

    1.4 CPC

    Chinese CPC prices surged in October for higher pet coke cost.

    1.5 Coal tar pitch

    Because of the coal tar prices increase and short supply, coal tar pitch prices increased in October.
