On December 27, Bosai Mining (Group) started to construct the ferroalloy project with an annual production of 600,000t in Qingxi park, Fuling district, Chongqing.
The total investment of the project is 2.5 billion yuan (358 million US dollars) and the project can achieve an annual output value of 5 billion yuan (717 million US dollars). Silicomanganese to be produced through the project is a necessary additive for steel smelting.
