WBMS: Tin market records a surplus of 1,400t in Jan-Oct 2019

According to the data released by World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) on Tuesday, the global tin market recorded a surplus of 1,400t during January to October 2019.
Global reported production of refined metal was up by 11,000t and production in Asia was 9,700t higher than the January to October 2018 total. Apparent demand in China was 9 . 7% higher than the equivalent period of the previous year.
Global tin demand during January to October 2019 was 313,700t which was 0.4% below the comparable period of 2018 . Japanese consumption was 21,500t which was 8 . 0% below the comparable total for January to October 2018.
In October 2019, refined production was 33,400t and consumption was 32,100t.
