Ministry of Commerce: U.S. to launch additional tariff exclusion process for Chinese goods

According to Ministry of Commerce, the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced recently that the United States will launch exclusion process for Chinese goods worth USD300 billion on the list of additional tariffs
. From 31 October, 2019 to 31 January, 2020, all U . S . interested parties can submit an exclusion application, including whether related products can be replaced, whether anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties have been imposed on related products, whether related products are of important strategic significance, whether related products are related to Made in China 2025 and other industry policies as well as other aspects . If the application is approved, additional tariffs that have been imposed since 1 September, 2019 will be returned.
