Desay Battery to invest RMB300 million into building Li-ion battery project

On the evening of December 26, Desay Battery announced that, as part of its development strategy, its subsidiary Huizhou Desay Battery Co
The Park will focus upon research, development, production, selling, technical service, and imports and exports of Li-ion battery and its accessories. The Park will have a total proposed investment of RMB300 million, out of which RMB100 million are earmarked for equipment and fixed assets, and the remaining RMB200 million as working capital.
The Park will consist of three layers of workshops. When the first-layer workshops go into operation, they are expected to employ about 800 workers, have an annual production capacity of about 40 million units of Li battery, and achieve an annual operation revenue of RMB2 billion and an annual taxation of over RMB40 million . When the second- and third-layer workshops go into operation (more investment needed), they are expected to employ about 2,400 workers, have an annual production capacity of about 100 million units of Li battery, and achieve an annual operation revenue of RMB4 billion and an annual taxation of over RMB100 million.
