Learnt from Henan Provincial Nonferrous Metals Guild that the output of 10 nonferrous metals in Henan increased from 510,000t in 1998 to 5.43 million tons in 2017, up by 11 times during the period; in addition, the output has ranked first in China for 14 successive years from 2001 to 2014.
In Henan, the alumina output increased from 940,000t in 1998 to 11.56 million tons in 2017, up by 11 times, and has ranked first for 16 successive years from 1999 to 2014 in China; the primary aluminum output increased from 330,000t in 1998 to 3.02 million tons in 2017, up by 8 times, and has ranked first for 16 successive years from 1998 to 2013 in China; the output of processed aluminum products increased from 70,000t in 1998 to 12.12 million tons in 2017, up by 172 times, and ranked first for the first time in 2017 in China. In addition, the lead output increased from 100,000t in 1998 to 1.52 million tons in 2017, up by 14 times, and has ranked first for 16 successive years since 2002 in China, with the manufacturing technology in the domestic leading position.
