Jichangpo lead-zinc mine of Hongtai Mining suspends production for rectification

Luoping Zinc & Electricity announced on 11 December that its wholly-owned subsidiary Puding Hongtai Mining Co., Ltd. received an notification from Anshun Administration of Work Safety on 10 December, which required Hongtai Mining to suspend and rectify its Puding Jichangpo sandstone lead-zinc mine.
On 10 December 2018, the administration inspected Jichangpo sandstone lead-zinc mine, and discovered hidden dangers there, so the mine was required to suspend all of its under pit operation and finish the rectification before 30 January 2019.
According to preliminary calculation, the raw ore output of the mine is expected to drop by more than 240 metal tons in December 2018 affected by the suspension, and the figure is anticipated to be more than 320 metal tons in January 2019.
