1. Market Highlights
In November, mainstream prices for Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min continued to drop like those in October, but they moved down at a slower pace. In the second half of November, they were relatively stable. As the enquiries and orders from end consumers had been inactive since the first half of the month, and they all waited for lower prices, transactions in spot market continued to be inactive. Some end consumers began to send enquiries and make purchases from the second half of the month and even prepared the stocks for January 2019 as they worried that the prices would rebound and the supply would be tight at the end of 2018. Most Chinese germanium metal 99.99%min suppliers have achieved their sales target, so they stopped lowering prices and the market tended to run steadily.
