Ningxia releases special emission limits for iron & steel industry

In order to effectively control emissions of main air pollutants, Ningxia released special emission limits.
Special emission limits on sulfur dioxide, oxynitride and particulate matter are applicable to thermal power, iron & steel, cement, petrochemical, nonferrous, chemical and other industries, effective from 1 January, 2019.
Disqualified companies will be required to take measures within a stated time period, or they will be punished severely.
