MEE to conduct environment monitoring inspection

Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) announced on 16 August that according to the ecological environment monitoring quality inspection three-year plan, it will conduct inspections on quality of monitoring data of monitoring bodies, pollution emission companies, operation and maintenance bodies. The inspection will mainly target at papermaking, thermal power, iron & steel, chemical, urban sewage treatment and other key industries in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas, Yangtze River Delta, Fen-Wei river plain and other key areas.
