1. Market Highlights
The Chinese Rare Earth Market in February kept quiet before the Spring Festival holiday, with logistics companies ceasing work and participants leaving the market gradual. In late February, consumers gradually backed to the market after the Spring Festival holiday . Owing to tight supply of rare earth ore, Chinese rare earth separation plants and smelters raised their prices in advance even though some of consumers would return the market after Chinese Lantern Festival . The NdFeB magnet relevant products, such as PrNd, terbium and gadolinium prices moved up . Suppliers also raised dysprosium and holmium offers, but the prices did not fluctuate much . Lanthanum, cerium, yttrium and europium prices stayed relatively stable this month due to consumers' sufficient stocks . Insiders predicted that the Chinese rare earth market prices would increase next month.
