JISCO Group Yuzhong Steel completely resumes Phase II project

JISCO Group Yuzhong Steel Co., Ltd. has fully promote the complete the resumption for their Phase II project so far this year based on the completion of overcapacity removal for iron and steel industry.
In 2016, JISCO Group reduced 1 million tons of pig iron capacity and 1.4 million tons of crude steel capacity for Yuzhong Steel. Related facilities are all shut down and kept in storage on time, which has also been approved by the inspection from the panel from the State Council of China.
In 2017, JISCO designed the resumption plan to the Phase II project and orderly advanced related works. Their two steelmaking converters saw output on October 24 of 2017, marking the complete resumption for their Phase II project.
Meanwhile, JISCO started the product structure optimization and transformation project in late 2015 and properly upgraded one production line of steel bar products of Yuzhong Steel by adding 50,000t of capacity for flat steel, angle steel, channel steel, etc. besides rebar capacity.
