CRC and HGI coil prices in major markets of China went up further during this month mainly supported by higher raw material costs and the tight supply from steel mills. Because of the environmental protection inspection, some steel mills could not keep the regular production and the supply decreased accordingly. Domestic steel mills such as Baosteel, WISCO and Bengang Steel all announced to keep their list prices stable for December production. However, customers without urgent need for materials were still holding a wait-and-see attitude and placing orders sparingly. Insiders do not think prices of CRC and HGI coil will increase further in the coming month.
