August 8, 2017, Columbian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism passed No. 123 resolution that it initiated anti-dumping investigation on U-shaped and L-shaped steels originally produced in China.
. 200 resolution made on November 17, 2017, that it adopted the preliminary determination on anti-dumping investigation for U-shaped and L-shaped steels originating in China, which set a basis price at USD473.28/t for the material involved in the case . When FOB price declared at Customs is lower than the basis price, the levy amount is the price difference between the both prices mentioned above . The products involved in the case are under tariff 7216 . 21 . 00 . 00, 7216 . 10 . 00 . 00 and 7228 . 70 . 00 . 00, and the above measure is valid for 6 months from the day when the determination was announced.
