1. Market Highlights
International molybdenum market saw limited transactions in October with prices falling back slightly. Transactions in Chinese molybdenum market increased during the month with prices keeping stable. Affected by this, some molybdenum mines which had been out of production for a long time successively resumed production, which not only guaranteed the sufficient supply for molybdenum concentrate, but also stopped prices for the material from increasing rapidly. In addition, steel mills opened bidding in an orderly way and demand from downstream market went up stably, which made Chinese molybdenum industry chain show the most flourishing state so far in 2017.
