    Due to the lack of spot supply in the Chinese ferrosilicon market and constant rises in raw material prices as well as the depreciation of RMB, Chinese ferrosilicon prices went up significantly and continuously in October. By the end of the month, prices for ferrosilicon 72%min and 75%min in the domestic market increased by RMB500/t (USD73.0/t) and RMB550/t (USD80.3/t) respectively from early this month.
