In May, Chinese ferrosilicon market witnessed slow buying activities and stable prices relatively. The market demand shows no signs of rebounding and end-users just adopted hand-to-mouth purchasing strategy. Meanwhile, producers mainly focused on decreasing inventory. By the end of the month, and the prices for ferrosilicon 72%min dropped about RMB50/t, and ferrosilicon 75%min moved up by RMB20/t.
