In April, Chinese ferrosilicon prices went down continuously. Large ferrosilicon producers still held huge volume of stocks and the market demand shows no signs of rebounding, so producers had to lower prices to stimulate sales and recoup money. By the end of the month, and the prices for ferrosilicon 72%min dropped about 6.4%, and ferrosilicon 75%min moved down by 6.5%.
