In a word, taking Chinese rare earth commercial storage into consideration, market insiders are more confident towards the market in the coming month, and we predict that the rare earth market will revive a bit in May.

As a consequence, prices of PrNd, dysprosium and terbium related products in domestic market moved up slowly and firmly, and the maket price is predicted to continue rising in the coming month for the second batch of commercial storage . On the other hand, yttrium oxide 99 . 999%min, europium oxide 99 . 999%min and cerium oxide 99 . 9%min price kept relatively stable due to both of oversupply and suppliers’ thin margins . Some suppliers raised their offers of lanthanum oxide 99 . 9%min quickly by around 20%, but downstream consumer were inactive to make replenishment at this price, which resulted in relatively slight increasing price in the spot market.
