Even though the first tender from China’s State Reserve Bureau in early November failed due to the low bidding price, sources generally thought that prices for Chinese tungsten products had hit the bottom and would rebound continuously in the future market
. Suppliers for tungsten concentrate and APT raised their quotations to check the market condition and most of them were reluctant to sell the material at lower prices . The spot market merely witnessed limited transactions as end users continued to hold a cautious attitude towards purchases . It is expected that prices for tungsten raw materials will increase continuously next month as mainstream producers will restrict their outputs to reserve higher prices.
