Many ferrochrome producers who mainly supplied to steel mills were making regular production in February, and market saw rare transaction concluded in the month, since logistic companies refused to take the orders in one or two weeks before the Spring Festival. As a result, mainstream prices of ferrochrome had little adjustment in February.
Most purchase activities on chrome ore had been completed in the mid-end January, and the suspension of logistics also had obvious impact on chrome ore spot market transactions, so many traders stopped quotation on their materials in the week before the holiday and mainstream prices of chrome ore remained stable with rare deals in February.
