Chinese ferrosilicon moved weakly and witnessed price declines again in February. Buyers lacked enthusiasm in rebuilding stocks early the month. And in order to stimulate sales and withdraw money, producers were forced to lower prices to attract clients. As it was near the Spring Festival holiday, the majority of market participants began to leave away from the market. As a result, rare inquiries and few deals with flat price tendencies could be seen in the Chinese domestic market. Meanwhile, the Chinese ferrosilicon export market saw limited buying activities. Insiders held their quotations stable and watched the market with the approaching of the holiday.
