China's 2014 silicon metal export volume expected to increase by 20% YOY

According to the statistics from China Customs, China exported 645,785t of silicon metal in total during the first three quarters of 2014, up by 27.07% from 508,202t in the same period of 2013 and by 81.22% compared to the 356,362t in the same period of 2012. The total Chinese silicon metal export volume in 2013 was 704,275t and it is expected that the volume for 2014 will reach around 850,000-860,000t, with an increase of 20-22% YOY.
