The construction steel market did not improve much in November as prices had moved up a lot in October stimulated by the news of mills’ suspending production before and during APEC which was held in Beijing during November 5 to 11. However, after mills resumed the operation after the conference, the supply increased and prices began moving down in the second half of this month. With the demand from downstream industry becoming weaker in winter, prices of wire rod and rebar will go down further in December.
