Due to sluggish demand from consumers for vanadium products, Chinese vanadium prices were on the slide throughout June with few orders concluded and buyers watching the market. With the approaching off season during July and August, Chinese vanadium prices would more than likely decrease further and demand should continue to be weak. The tight supply of vanadium products in Europe was released and international vanadium prices were heading downwards. Chinese vanadium export orders continued to go down and it was expected that the Chinese vanadium export market would not see a recovery during July-August.
