Although steel mills decreased the purchasing prices of ferrovanadium and vanadium nitride alloy for March, many ferrovanadium suppliers refused to undersell their materials in spot market affected by stable vanadium pentoxide prices. Due to surplus supply and sluggish demand, vanadium nitride alloy market went down slightly. Although European vanadium market increased in March due to tight supply, there is no sign for Chinese vanadium export to recover with few deals concluded. Due to slack deformed steel bars in China, it is expected that Chinese vanadium market would continue to keep stable and slow in April.
