The spot market of ferrosilicon in China was relatively soft with low profit from downstream end users and rare deals due to the Spring Festival drawing near. Some producers expressed to cut output properly after the holiday as a result of lower prices. Export market of ferrosilicon ran slowly with low export volume and exporters lamented about tough activities due to high export tariff.
