Chinese steel plate prices went down in most leading markets during this month because of weak demand and tight capital flow before the Spring Festival holiday. However, the low inventory offered some support to the market price. After the holiday, some newly ordered products will arrive at ports in succession, while demand may recover after the Lantern Festival. Insiders think the price may increase slightly in the second half of the coming month.
