Chinese steel plate prices went up in most leading markets during this month like Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangzhou, mainly supported by low market inventory and higher purchasing cost. The average price of Q235B 20mm in Chinese key cities increased by RMB72/t month on month from RMB3,460/t VAT included to RMB3,532/t VAT included. Insiders deem that the price is likely to move down a little in January of 2014.
