Chinese steel plate prices kept stable in most leading markets during this month like Shanghai and Guangzhou, while they fell slightly in some regions like Tinajin. The average price for Q235B 20mm in Chinese key cities went down by RMB2/t month on month from RMB3,462/t (VAT included) to RMB3,460/t (VAT included), and the markdown narrowed a lot compared with that of RMB61/t in October. Considering that downstream demand is hard to release in December, insiders deem that the price is likely to go down a little in the coming month.
