End of Summit
The 3rd Annual Minor Metals Summit organized by Asian Metal came to successful conclusion at Horizon Resort Hotel, Sanya, Hainan on October 31, 2008.
The summit brought together more than 250 delegates from 200 companies who exchanged ideas and shared experiences on opportunities and challenges posed to minor metals industry.
Industrial officials gave presentations on China's Foreign Trade from the Perspective of the Current Global Economy and Challenges and Opportunities in Chinese Nonferrous Metals Industry.
Speakers from diverse executive and management backgrounds such as from China Minmetals Nonferrous Metals Co.,Ltd., JCC (GuiXi) Neo-materials Co.,Ltd., Taiyuan Tongxiang Magnesium Co., Ltd., Sichuan Tianqi Lithium Industries, Inc., Nanjing Jinmei Gallium Co., Ltd., Hunan Reshine New Materials Co., Ltd., Hunan Coran Industry & Commerce Co., Ltd., Xiangtan Jvfa Chemcial Co., Ltd. and Hunan Xintian Zhenghe Co., Ltd. made presentations.
Officials from Dow Corning Company, Recapture Metals, Canada, Tosho Trading Co.,Ltd., UMC Trading Co.,Ltd., Indium Corporation of America and Germanium Corporation of America made presentations on market situations and prospects in minor metals industry.

| Alex Iasnikov, Business Development Manager of Recapture Metals of Canada, is delievering a speech on Indium Application and Recycling in the summit. Mr. Iasnikov estimated that demand for indium from CIGS industry may increase by large margins in 2009. In terms of indium supply, China remains ranking the first on the list of world indium supplier with the amount accounting for 15% of the world total supply volume, while 62% of the indium comes from recycled indium. |
